Hello, 

My Name is Dania and currently I am a full time student at Full Sail University in Orlando FL. I am getting my Bachelors degree in Music Business, although music is a very huge part of my life I am finding that I am not sure that I want to work in the music industry for the rest of my life. 

Through all the ups and downs I have recently discovered a hidden talent that I really never new I had. It is Crafting and Sewing I have become enthralled with everything that is DIY. This obsession did begin at an early age I do believe but I never really was aware that I was a creative person and had the ability to create things that not only I enjoy but others do as well. 

I began sew in my early teens, nothing serious just stitching up holes, rips, tares and things like that, oh and putting patches on everything. I knew I enjoyed doing it but never imagined that it could actually take me anywhere. In 2008 My Father and Step Mother purchased a vintage Singer sewing machine and gave it to me for my birthday, I was very excited about it was so beautiful and such a fantastic gift! The sewing machine sat dormant for 2 years and in 2010 I busted the machine out and began to understand all the inner works of the 1961 Slant-o-matic. It was so intriguing, a little frustrating and overwhelming but at last I began to sew using a sewing machine! 

In September of 2010 I opened a little shop on etsy.com, HellBetty Bows was born. HellBetty is a shop dedicated to, "The Darkside of Hair Accessories." My creations are examples of the things I love most in the world, and they Rock N Roll, The Pin Up Ear and Tattoos. 

I am very environmentally aware and I choose to Upcycle meaning that I like to make new things out of old things. My favorite materials to use are Vintage Fabrics,Buttons,Charms and other Vintage Findings, although some of my items are made of new materials, I use sustainable office and shipping supplies. 

This Blog is dedicated to all that is DIY and maybe a little bit of my daily adventures in this life that I lead.
